Officially, the six tourist routes of the municipality of Neiva were launched: ‘Ruta de la Achira’, ‘City Tour Neiva’, ‘Sendero Villamil’, ‘Sendero Arboloco de las Ceibas’, ‘Montaña Mágica del Chapuro’ and the ‘Ruta Dorada de San Luis’.

We have been working hand in hand with the communities in the construction of tourist products, with the aim of promoting rural and urban tourism, as a commitment to highlight the history of emblematic sites and monuments, illustrious characters of the region, the typical gastronomy and the musical and folkloric tradition.

With this, it is sought that locals and tourists enjoy the benefits of the villages of Fortalecillas, Vegalarga, Río Ceibas, San Luis and Guacirco, where communities have been empowered through tourist experiences such as the ‘Ruta de la Achira’, ‘ City Tour Neiva’, ‘Villamil Trail’, ‘Arboloco de las Ceibas Trail’, ‘Chapuro Magic Mountain’ and the ‘San Luis Golden Route’.

In total, there are ten operating agencies in the city, which are ready to receive and offer tourists a unique experience in the five districts of Neiva.
It should be noted that the municipality of Neiva already has great air connectivity between different cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Cartagena, which allows the city to be the gateway to southern Colombia, as a biosafe, sustainable and safe tourist destination. competitive.

Diego Eduardo Marín, tour operator of Huila Route 45

“In addition to having a product, it is being able to boost the economy in the capital. We know that tourism is a catalyst and that it has many links in the value chain. So it is important that we can publicize this effort that is being developed from the Mayor’s Office to promote not only San Pedro but also rural tourism”.

James Córdoba, tour operator of the Villamil Route

“I think it’s fabulous, because through the QR code we are going to make ourselves known, that strategy has been one of the best at this time. A thank you to Gorky Muñoz Calderón as a representative of our municipality of Neiva, because he has been an entrepreneur, he has supported us in all those alternatives to bring tourists closer to rurality”.
