Montería
Montería is a city in northern Colombia. It is known for its cattle culture and the planchones (roofed rafts) that transport passengers through the Sinú River. The leafy Parque Ronda del Sinú stretches along the river, with trails and monkeys, iguanas and sloths. In the northern area of the park, there is the El Mirador tower, with a panoramic view of the river. In the center of the city, there is the iconic Cathedral of San Jerónimo.
